Role Description
We are looking for a curious, detail-oriented Junior Privacy Specialist to support our mission of making compliance practical, smart, and accessible. You will help clients meet the requirements of regulations like GDPR, DORA, and NIS2 while gaining hands-on experience in privacy management.
You will support the implementation of the Anove platform and be part of a growing team shaping the future of responsible technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Help clients navigate privacy, risk, and information security frameworks with confidence.
- Contribute to data protection impact assessments (DPIAs), records of processing, and privacy documentation.
- Stay on top of legal developments and help translate them into real-world actions.
- Join audits, training sessions, and client workshops to raise awareness and share knowledge.
- Work closely with our product and delivery teams to support platform implementation.
- Bring clarity and structure to how privacy is handled, and help improve internal practices.
Qualifications
- A degree in Law, Political Science, International Relations, or Business.
- Previous hands-on experience in privacy, compliance, or tech startups is a plus; motivation and curiosity matter just as much.
- Fluent in English plus Dutch or French (German is a bonus).
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity laws and frameworks.
- Familiarity with Security or Privacy Management Systems.
- Comfortable with tools like Excel, Google Workspace, and CRM systems.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Hands-on experience with DPIAs, records of processing, or privacy documentation.
- Progress toward privacy or security certifications.
- A strong sense of responsibility and great communication skills.
- The drive to grow quickly into a Privacy Officer or DPO role.
Compensation & Benefits
We offer a salary between €2,400 and €5,000 per month, based on experience and profile.
